My client is a Leading US Investment Bank, with a worldwide reputation as one of the most successful and profitable investment banks of our time–recently backed up by excellent figures.

As of such there is an opportunity for an experienced server side java developer to take an instant impact to their Credit Trading Desk in New York.
You will take a very hands on approach and work directly with traders and front office users in developing highly advanced java applications focusing on pricing and derivatives.
The team has an extremely collaborative environment and you will be expected to quickly build strong relationships with the business and work together with senior management in driving the technology team forward.
The ideal candidate will require:
-Core java development,
-Unix/Windows,
-C# would be a plus,
-Investment Banking Experience,
-Excellent academic background in computer science or related field,
-Good communication skills,
-Relational Databases.

Since this is a fast paced, front office trading environment, you must be comfortable interacting with front office users and be willing to face a very steep learning curve.
