Top tier European investment bank has a critical hire for a Vice President or Director level Debt capital markets originator to lead the DCM team out of Hong Kong.

Role involved the following:
-Managing a small niche team of debt capital markets originators working across Asia and Australia out of Hong Kong,
-Origination of vanilla debt/ bonds/ covered bonds/ private placements and non investment grade products for corporate/ Financial institutions and Government clients in Asia,
-Helping educate the junior members of the team and liaise with research/ sales and syndicate desks.

This particular role requires a specific skills set. Successful candidate will have the following skills:
-Essential to have good market experience in Debt capital markets- this is a pre requisite for this vacancy,
-My client is looking to hire a seasoned DCM originator ideally based in Asia and with skills in structuring/ origination and execution of DCM transactions,
-Good client base and list Asian and Austrailian clients- FIG/ public sector or corporate is important,
-Good track record in pitching and winning mandates in US bond market is essential for this role.
