Tier 1 investment bank known for their significant influence in the global equity market, is seeking a successful and ambitious Junior Application Support Analyst/Developer to work as part of their highly innovative, heavily backed team. 
The team are rapidly expanding and have access to a huge hiring budget, so this allows an opportunity for an exceptional junior to develop their skills parallel to the team's growth.

The successful Junior Application Support Analyst/Developer–(Equity, Derivatives, Scripting, Perl, Python, ksh, FIX, SQL, Sybase Linux) will have skills in:
-Strong derivatives knowledge,
-Strong technical, analytical and problem solving skills,
-FIX protocol,
-Strong scripting lanaguages: Perl, Python, ksh,
-Good understanding of SQL and Sybase databases,
-Market making systems support (Asia Markets).

Responsibilities:
-Provide support on Pricing, Risk Management and Market Making,
-Interact with and provide support directly alongside traders,
-Smart order routing, order management,
-Pick up skills quickly and develop alongside the team.

The person:
-Good team player with ability to communicate and discuss technical issues.
-Strong motivation to work in Asia.
-Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Primarily, a bright graduate from an IT related discipline ie Computer Science with some industry experience would be preferred, with the ability to work within a front office and very dynamic environment.
