This conference is organized by the Climate Economics Chair and the Centre of Geopolitics of Energy and Raw Materials (CGEMP).
It will take place on October 18th, at Paris-Dauphine University.
Over the course of the year, the researchers of the Climate Economics Chair (CEC) have been working hard, developing applied research in the field of climate change economics. Their main findings, summarized in the book “Climate Economics in Progress” (Economica), will be discussed during the various sessions of the Conference.
In the morning, three parallel workshops will be held, covering the topics: Carbon prices and markets; Agriculture, Food and Forestry; and, Mobility in a low-carbon society. The workshops will be platforms for discussion, bringing together researchers, experts and the partners of our Research Initiatives.
In the afternoon two roundtables will be held to examine the issues related to the proliferation of carbon pricing, and the potential contribution of climate action to green growth.
