My client one of the highly respected European banks is actively seeking an Associate level carbon originator to join its Hong Kong office.
This is a new and exciting market but requires direct experience in a relevant position:
Solid experience in a carbon origination position is essential,
The role will focus on originating deals, maintaining client relationships and exposure to executing transactions in the CDM/JI area and so a good understanding of the Asian carbon market is important.
The main focus of the role will be origination so it is important to have excellent communication skills, innovative mind and the ability to speak to clients and deliver a tailored solution.
Any Mandarin/Cantonese speakers an advantage but not essential.
Strong education-ideally Msc level in a Maths/Engineering or hard science.
