Sales, ETF to institutions, Hong Kong, $Highly Competitive.
Our client is a top ranked fund manager with offices in 14 countries. They are now expanding their Hong Kong based ETF sales team and they are looking to hire an exceptional individual who will sell ETF to institutions (banks, insurance companies, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds) in North and Greater China. Key responsibilities: -Key contributor to the product debate and shaping of new product development pipeline, -Logging and developing product opportunities, -Generate and increase the product knowledge of the team, -Ensure that the due diligence is being planned and carried out on the opportunities, -research in the product viability from an economic point of view as well as from a technical point, -close co-operation with other product resources in the fund manager as well as close interaction with the team in the US, -Identification of new product opportunities through product related market research, -Consolidate product plans and create buy in for product related projects. Key skills: -Proven track record in a similar role, -Excellent ETF product knowledge, -Good understanding of the Chinese/Greater Chinese institutional market, -Fluency in mandarin, -Excellent sales and communication skills, -Transferable client base not essential.
