Our client is a global buyside institution with an excellent name in the institutional market in Europe, Asia and the USA.
They are now expanding their Hong Kong based sales team, as their institutional client base in the region is growing fast.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join one of the strongest asset managers, focusing on high performance and high standards.
Key responsibilities:
-Representing the Hedge Fund to institutional clients in Hong Kong and China, and other South Asian markets,
-Responsible for raising assets and driving business forward throughout the growing investor client base,
-Actively developing new institutional clients throughout the region (pension funds, insurance funds, banks, central banks, private banks, etc.),
-Screening the investor universe for suitable investors,
-Setting up meetings,
-Conducting post meeting follow ups,
-Attending conferences to promote the brand.
Skills required for this role:
-Proven sales track record in alternative investment or in an asset manager,
-Excellent knowledge of the local institutional market (pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, multi managers, Fund of Funds),
-Ideally, a transferable client base,
-Fluency in either Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus,
-Strong sales and communication skills.
