Junior C++ developer–Front Office Desk-London (C++, C#, Java, MsC)-£60,000 plus competitive bonus and benefits
My client is a leading Investment Bank who are well known for their strong Fixed Income team.
They now seek a Junior C++ Developer to join the team. You will be given all the training and support you need in order to reach your potential and be successful.
The Junior C++ Developer will be responsible for developing small enhancements to the systems managed by the fixed income team and investigate and fix problems with those systems.
You will report to the lead developer on the desk and work alongside some highly experienced computer scientists and physicists.
The ideal Junior C++ Developer will possess the following skill:
-Strong academic background in Computer Science/Physics/Financial Engineering–Msc or PhD preferred,
-Unix,
-An active interest in banking,
-Good communication skills,
-Desire to work in a challenging front office team,
-Knowledge of SQL,
-Preferably some C# or Java experience,
-Knowledge of .NET.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an intelligent and talented Junior C++ developer to launch their career in the finance industry.

Whilst a background working in finance for 1-2 years is preferred, the team is willing to see candidates who have just graduated.
