Sales, Equity Research to European/UK Institutions, London, £Highly Competitive.
Opening position in a top ranked European investment bank.
They are looking to add a driven salesperson to their UK/European institutional distribution team based in London/Paris.
The teams actively price and market cash equity (small and mid cap mainly) to Long only, Hedge Funds and Asset Managers in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia as well as Italy and Spain and they are now looking to add an individual to their team who will sell equity research to these clients.
Key responsibilities:
-Selling Equity research on technology, telecommunications, media, pharmaceutical and mining to Long Only, Hedge Funds and Asset Managers in UK and Europe,
-Working alongside the Cash Equity salespeople you will also be involved in selling Equities,
-Maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients mainly in continental Europe.
Skills required:
-Proven track record of selling equity research,
-Excellent product knowledge of mid cap and large cap equities in telecoms, mining, media and pharmaceutical,
-A good understanding of the Equity sales market in Europe and the UK,
-Strong sales and communication skills,
-Fluency in one European language is not essential, but will be considered as a plus.
