Finance and New Information Systems
The convergence of grid technology, virtualisation, web services and service oriented architectures is a major issue for both science and business.
In this context, these new technologies can provide the foundations for flexible service oriented infrastructures in various domains. In particular, this is a strategic challenge for the finance sector, where they may bring significant advantages and capacity of innovation for a lot of bank activities.
The objective of this seminar is to give an overview of the aims, the challenges and the synergies among these new architectures in the financial domain.
